Stats people: Let us see if we can improve the time when I am out of the classroom. I would like to cover two main things on Tuesday: an activity with dice and the second half of the notes for chapter 18. Can a I get two volunteers to lead these activites? This way I can write in the Sub plans that you (the students) will guide the lesson, and they (the sub) can relax. Then hopefully you all learn more and not get encumbered by different philosophies.
Post back tell me what you think. Then get your friends to post. Text them to post.
If (when) I get volunteers, then I can e-mail them the plans and THEY can try to make sense to the activities for the class. I'll select just a couple people and let people know. This could be a huge success if we try.

Okay, here's my comment. Have fun in class everyone! haha And picking only a couple people for the activity is fine since the size of the sample doesn't matter as long as it's random. See, I have learned stuff. See you in a week!
Yes I think this might work. I would like to volunteer for the activity with the dice.
Yeah... Mr. E was very. interesting...
i think i might go take a walk in the forrest, or along a beach, whenever i'm feeling overwhelmed by statistics :,(
XD haha.
Sounds fun Doctor Dan, the activities really help, me at least. And i think Zach would be a good candidate. And maybe Amanda too, oooooh. If she wants to volunteer. or shawn, or. Janee. any of my friends :P
haha, Mr. E...
I think the activiteis will help us better understand the new matterial better.
I'll volunteer to do the second half of the notes so we can get them finished before you get back. And maybe then I'll actually understand the homework.and thanks for the nomination julia
Okay Folks. I'll send Zach the dice stuff and Shawn M. the notes for the second half of the lesson. Give me a bit of time though...

Stats formulas do not post well as is. The mathy stuff does not come up. I need some help with this, then I can put the notes right on the Blog.
I definitely think that the activities will be helpful to our understanding- it's much harder to figure things out without instruction. And I would be willing to help with either activity... but it's kind of late for that. Just checked my email. 8D
